Robert E. Johnson (Robert E. Johnson), Director of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of UNC CHARLOTTE, doctor's degree, professor, member of ASME, famous expert of America precision machining and precision measurement, built the advanced and full-featured laboratory of precision machining and precision measurement equipment, create the precision machining and precision measurement to advantage disciplines of the visiting school, complete several important projects of military.
罗伯特E.约翰逊(Robert E. Johnson),北卡大学夏洛特校区机械工程系主任,博士,教授,ASME会员,美国精密加工和精密测量方面著名专家,建有设备先进、功能齐全的精密加工和精密测量实验室,打造了该校工学院的优势学科之一——精密加工与精密测量,完成了多项军方重要项目。
【讲座简介】:
In this talk Precision machining and measurement technology in America will be reviewed. The talk will focus on the development of Precision machining and measurement technology from method, equipment and technology. Finally,some ideas about the tendency about precision machining and measurement technology will be made according to the existing problems in its development.
介绍美国精密加工与精密测量技术,从精密加工和测量的方法,设备和技术等方面介绍着重介绍了精密测量技术的发展,最后,根据精密加工技术和精密测量技术在发展中存在的问题,分别提出了精密加工技术和精密测量技术的发展设想。

【主  题】:Dynamic mechanical properties of Metal material under with high strain rate loading condition(金属材料高应变率加载条件下的动态力学性能)

【主讲人简介】:
Professor Wei Qiuming graduated Department of materials science and engineering of Northwestern Polytechnical University in 1984. In 1998 he got doctor of Science degree at the Department of materials science and engineering in North Carolina State University and worked in North Carolina A & M University and Hopki university.  He got Lifetime Professor in 2010. The fields of his research are Structure and properties of nano and ultrafine grained materials, especially including dynamic mechanical properties under high strain rate loading conditions, testing small samples, grain boundary embrittlement mechanism, film material preparation and characterization.
魏秋明教授1984年本科毕业于西北工业大学材料科学与工程系。1998年获北卡罗来纳州立大学材料科学与工程系理学博士学位,并先后在北卡罗来纳农工大学和霍普金斯大学工作。2010年获终身教授职位。魏秋明教授的研究方向包括纳米及超细晶材料的结构与性能,尤其是高应变率加载条件下的动态力学性能,小样品力学测试,晶界脆化机理,薄膜材料的制备和表征等。

Dynamic mechanical properties of Metal material under with high strain rate loading condition will be reviewed, pecific including the characteristics of dynamic load, the deformation mechanism and model, adiabatic shear deformation and characteristics organization after deformation.
介绍金属材料高应变率加载条件下的动态力学性能,主要包括动态载荷的特点,变形机制和模型,绝热剪切变形现象和变形后得组织特点等。
